Our Rosetta Salami by spicy salami is made by Ferrarini following the traditional methods of Reggio Emilia, Italy using carefully selected pigs. Rosetta Salame contains both lean and fatty parts of the pigs, which are finely ground and then expertly seasoned with salt, pepper, herbs and spices before being wrapped in natural or artificial casings. They are then individually tied by hand and hung to mature for a minimum of 3 months.
Ferrarini takes pride in preparing a healthier variety of cured meats. This delicious Rosetta salami is gluten-free and suitable for anyone with lactose or milk protein allergies or intolerances. This allows them to cater to a much wider audience and let more people indulge in a “true taste of Italy”!
We recommend that you remove the casing from the part you want to cut before diagonally slicing carefully with a sharp knife. Rosetta Salame is a fantastic appetizer with some fresh bread, like Focaccia, and some green olives. Why not make an Italian antipasto and add other classic cured meats from Reggio Emilia? Rosetta pairs well with a dry and crisp Pinot Grigio or a Pinot Noir if you’re more partial to red.
Ferrarini has dedicated itself to all-things Italian since 1956 and shares superb elements of Italian cuisine with the rest of the world. They specialize in producing a variety of meats, certified Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, and wines and balsamic vinegar – where they only use grapes from their own vineyards.
