Q: What was/is the specific resson, motivation
for using the three milks in this cheese and
are the three animals all part of your own farm?
A: La Tur cheese is made in Italy, by Caseificio dell Alta Langa. We are not a producer, only a seller.
The cheese is made with milk from the animals raised in the same area (Bosia, Italy), and the company works with local farms and producers to ensure high quality milk.
The three milks complement each other nicely, and this is allows the cheese to develop a complex flavor despite being a young cheese.
Q: how long would the La Tur 3.25 lb last in refrigerator?
thanks
A: The shelf life of this cheese is 45 days kept refrigerated (39 / 46 °F).
