In 1990, the AOC designated that Chabichou du Poitou is one of France's elite cheeses. Century-old techniques are used to make Chabichou du Poitou. This goat cheese comes from Frances best goat-breeding region, Poitou. It has a sweet, delicate, nutty taste. It's fat content is 45% and it requires at least 60 days to mature.

A: Currently raw milk cheeses cannot be imported in the US. The Chabichou Du Poitou is made with pasteurized milk.
