About Grass Fed Beef Flank Steaks

Raised in the most natural way possible, these Flank steaks come from Australian grass fed cattle, allowed to graze freely on lush pastures, developing boldly flavored lean meat with a great texture, intense flavor, and less calories, fat and cholesterol than regular beef. You’ll get a pack of 2 Flank Steaks, weighing 2 lbs. each.

Flank steak is a great up-and-coming cut, very versatile. From the bottom belly section of the steer, it’s a long and wide swatch of mouthwateringly bold beef with just enough thickness to it. This is the perfect cut for a nice rub or marinade and a turn on the grill or a quick sear. Great for steak sandwiches, flavorful fajitas, and spectacular stir-fries!

For best results when cooking grass-fed beef, cook medium-rare, so the meat doesn’t become tough.

Brunette Downs Australian grass-fed beef comes from the AACo (the Australian Agricultural Company), specifically from their Brunette Downs Station in the Northern Territory of Australia. This lush area comprises thousands of square miles of mitchell and flinders grass, as well as native grasses and herbs. The cattle are free ranging (hardly ever handled by humans), and 100% grass fed on this pasture.
