A classic French sauce, this rich and flavorful concoction by French chef Christian Potier is a must-have for the pantry.
The classic sauce is made with red wine simmered with butter, shallots, chicken stock and seasonings like thyme. The gravy-like consistency and deep, heady flavor is perfect for a meaty Wagyu rib eye steak and matches up to robust roasts beautifully, succulent pork chops and lamb chops. The flavors are simple, classic, and always delicious.
The best thing? This sauce is pre-made by experts, and tastes just as if it was made from scratch! Each pouch contains 2 servings, just heat for 10 seconds in the microwave (or 5 minutes on the stove) and serve. It also keeps in the pantry with no refrigeration, so feel free to stock up on these and whip them out when you need to add gourmet flavor to a dish. Trust us, you’ll be amazed by the fresh flavors.
