Mortadella is similar to the Bologna we eat in the US, only without the chunky pork fat pieces, which gives it that amazing flavor. Wildly popular in Italy, but also around the world, especially in Hispanic countries. Serve Mortadella in thin slices as a cold cut, as part of a meat platter or on sandwiches.
