Moist, tender and incredibly flavorful, New Zealand grass fed lamb is a smaller and more subtly-flavored cousin to American lamb, which tends to be quite gamey and bold. This crowd-pleasing little lamb is never overwhelming, and it's perfect to serve cooked medium, or even medium-rare for best flavor and texture.

The leg is already deboned, so it's easy to prepare, and with an even shape, it's easy to cook and portion out evenly. Prepare it with a rub of spices, tenderize it with a marinade, sprinkle with your favorite fresh herbs, or just a good seasoning with sea salt and pepper. A good, slow roast is the way to go with lamb leg, or a butterfly and give it a turn on the grill.
