The only ingredients for our Prosciutto Crudo are simply Parma born and raised pork, salt and time. Similar to Prosciutto di Parma, Prosciutto Crudo is saltier rather than sweet, but with the same rosy-red meat with fabulous veins of succulent fat. Although “crudo” in Italian means “raw”, this is cooked by the curing process and completely safe to eat!
Serve Prosciutto Crudo in the same way you would Parma ham – arranged in an antipasto or appetizer platter, paired with cheeses, plump olives and nuts, or nestled in a between two slices bread for a gourmet sandwich. Ferrarini’s Prosciutto Crudo comes already pre-sliced, so all you have to do to enjoy is dig into the package – perfect to get a delicious taste of this fabulous Italian food staple!
Ferrarini’s Prosciutto Crudo di Parma is designated PDO – Protected Designation of Origin – which means the production from origin to packaging is strictly controlled ensuring high quality and consistency every time.
