Country Pate with Black Pepper - All Natural

A traditional recipe originating in the French countryside, this country-style pâté is a thick, coarsely-textured treasure seasoned with piquant black pepper. We're truly lucky to have found Terroirs D'Antan, a company based in California that is sweet as their French accents, but thankfully much closer to our time zone! This coarse spreadable paste is created using seasonings and fats, added to bring out the flavor in meats. It contains ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) and sodium nitrite to preserve the taste, color, and freshness allowing a longer shelf life the way it has been done in France for centuries. Shelf life indicated when properly refrigerated between 34° and 36°F. Consume 10 to 14 days after opening.

Ingredients: Pork, pork liver, eggs, cornstarch, onion, nonfat dry milk, red wine, salt, pork stock, pepper, garlic, spices, aspic.

Best Pate de Campagne I have eaten in US. (French) The right kind of meat liver texture fat salt pepper - very good taste. Go0d with french Baguette and Frenche Cornichon (Maille or Trader's Jo. Best French Baguette in South California is to buy at pragerbrothers.com (Carlsbad) Just ordered the 3lb Pate de Campagne - can keep parts frozen. BEST PATE DE CAMPAGNE !

A:If the pate is packaged with enough ice packs it should last 24 hours in transit. Additionally, you can put them inside a cooler to make sure they will stay fresh. However, we would recommend you to check first with the airplane company and/or customs authorities to make sure that you can actually take these with you.
