Crafted in the style of the classic French saucisson sec salami, Red Bear Provision’s Sacre Bleu Salami is made in Chicago from premium cuts of flavorful Angus beef instead of the traditional pork. This chunky dry sausage is seasoned with garlic, sea salt and black pepper, plus delicious red wine for extra flavor. The salami is cured and dried for two months until the perfectly complex, sweet and rich flavor is achieved.
Red Bear’s salami stick is a great little new format, perfect to make a little charcuterie platter for one or two. Pair Sacre Bleu with a couple of hard cheeses like Mimolette or Manchego, plus a shmear of sweet preserves and some fresh fruit and nuts for a perfect appetizer board. Send them as part of a gourmet gift basket alongside some other Red Bear salamis – just add a few cheeses, crackers and you’re set. And there’s nothing more amazing than this thinly-sliced salami, a fresh crusty bread, plus cold beer and your favorite Sunday game.
Red Bear Provisions is based out of Chicago, and we love that they always use pure Angus beef free of hormones, nitrates, and nitrities, from farm-raised cows. Their salamis are hand-crafted in small batches.
