We dare you to stop at one! These addictive Nutella cake balls are made with decadent chocolate hazelnut cream, whipped with cream and dipped with premium bittersweet baking chocolate. Perfect for holiday gift baskets!

Nutella Cake Ball Truffles Recipe


  1. In a small saucepan or double boiler, melt 10 oz. of bittersweet chocolate with cream and Nutella, stirring to combine. Remove from heat and refrigerate for 2 hours, covered.
  2. Form the truffles by scooping the mix 1 tablespoon at a time. Set over a tray covered with parchment paper and take to the freezer for 30 minutes.
  3. Melt ¾ lb. dark chocolate chips using a double boiler - or the microwave. Coat each truffle with chocolate, using a spoon or fork to dip. Tap to remove excess chocolate, then place back on the tray. Allow to set, then sprinkled with hazelnuts.
