Carefully sourced from Canadian family farms, each slab of lean pork belly is marinated for several days in maple syrup, double-smoked over applewood and hand-trimmed by professional butchers. The resulting bacon slices are bold in flavor, rich in aroma and crisply textured.

To prepare gourmet North Country bacon, simply place the slices in a warm frying pan and cook to desired crispness. You can also cook them on a ridged cookie sheet in the oven for approximately 20 minutes at 375° F. Add a dollop of butter for extra decadence!

My family is, but I am not a particular bacon fan, but I have to say that this was the best. Excellent flavor, but not overwhelming. Another must in your freezer.
