Shiitake Mushrooms - Dried

The new modern twist of Asian fusion cooking has made the shiitake (lentinus edodes) mushroom take a new center stage in contemporary cooking. This Asian mushroom is cultivated all over the world, and these ones are packaged in our good old USA. Shiitake mushrooms have a flavor people refer to as "meaty", very intense, and therefore married wonderfully to meats, heavy sauces and stir-fries, or any Oriental dish. Rehydrate in warm water for 20 minutes before using (drain and save the liquid for another dish). Imported from Asia and packaged in the USA.
Ingredients: Shiitake Mushrooms ( Lentinula Edoles).
Storage: room temperature
Availability: Usually ships within 1 business days. Product is non-perishable and can ship via Ground service.
