Dark Chocolate Crunchy Pearls

Each little bite of Cacao Noel’s Dark Chocolate Crunchy Pearls is a delightful pop of crunchy puffed rice enrobed in fine couverture chocolate. These are a staple in pastry décor but can also be used to finish off ice cream, mousses, to decorate cupcakes or whatever your pastry-chef heart fancies.

These little balls are around 3-5 mm in size and add a pleasant crunch and chocolate flavor to recipes. Use them instead of chocolate chips in cookies for a fun twist! Mix them up with white chocolate crunchy pearls for pretty décor, toss them in granola or trail mix, sprinkle over frosted brownies -endless crunchy possibilities! Ready to use right out of the convenient re-sealable pail. The large format packaging means you also get great value for a premium product that will last.

This product is made by Cacao Noel, a world-renowned French chocolate producer. Cacao Noel expertly grown fine Equatorial cocoa beans in the Ivory Coast, roast them in France, creating a sophisticated baking product designed for artisan chocolatiers and pastry chefs.

These are just as advertised: chocolate but crunchy and that's a delightful combo. My little grandson thinks they're quite the treat and with them being so small, he thinks he's getting a lot more than he is. I've used these on frosted/unfrosted brownies, in milkshakes, on ice cream...the possibilities are endless. I'm glad they come in a huge tub as i'll use them up.

Questions and Answers

Q:How long will these last and what is the best way to store them (ie. Room temp, refrigerator)?
A:The shelf life is 12 months. They should be kept in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and any sources of heat. They should not be refrigerated as the chocolate could bloom.
