Q:How is the sugar processed. What makes it different from regular white sugar?
A:La Perruche is quite secretive about the processing methods. On their website they state that they use "a process exclusive to La Perruche" following a "delicious secret recipe...invented in 1828." The brown sugar cubes offer a warm golden hue and a more caramel-hinted flavor than regular white sugar cubes.
