Echire
Echire is synonymous with butter, but not just any kind of butter. The best, most flavorful, silkiest butter in the world, coveted by chefs and served at the best restaurants and kitchens worldwide. Echire is made by Société de Laiterie Coopérative Échiré, a dairy cooperative founded in 1894 in Deux-Sevres, where the wonderful terroir and the know-how of the butter makers comes together to create this silky, creamy butter with a distinct flavor of the pristine spring water and fresh grasses of the area. The cooperative has methods that have remained for over a century, and which are controlled by an appellation that makes sure the quality is superb and consistent.
