Showcasing the best of the prized Wagyu breed, our Wagyu Beef Tenderloin MS3 is incredibly tender, webbed with that wonderful intramuscular fat marbling that’s characteristic of Kobe beef. That added fat means unbelievable tenderness and a boost of flavor that’s unparalleled to regular beef. Our Wagyu comes from Australia, where the cattle is raised in pristine pastures, finished with grain for the last 300 days, and never given any antibiotics or hormones.
The entire Tenderloin weighs in at 5 lbs, which you can get in one whole cut for a roast or Chateaubriand, or you can select to have it cut to order into several different steaks thicknesses. It’s also available frozen or chilled. Note that because the Strip Loin is an uneven cut – thicker on one end, tapering off on the other – you’ll get some large steaks and some smaller ones. Cutting exact steaks is not possible, so while we’ll keep it as close as possible, some steaks will be thinner, and some thicker. Any trimmings left over will be included.
The steaks are great for pan-frying – you don’t even need oil! Also incredible grilled, with just a dash of salt and pepper. Try to stay away from sauces or rubs, Wagyu beef is really incredibly on it’s own, and you don’t really want to mask that buttery flavor. Use caution (or pan) when grilling, as the additional natural fat of Wagyu makes it prone to flare-ups.
