Smoked Hickory Berkshire Ham, Bone-in

There’s pork, and the there’s Berkshire Kurobota pork, and it’s like nothing you can buy at the supermarket. Forget the pale, bland ham you’re used to, and imagine a succulent, rosy ham with a mild yet incredible flavor, hand-rubbed with natural spices and then smoked to perfection using an old English smoking method that uses natural hardwood for maximum flavor and aroma. Serve it for Easter, for the Holidays, or indulge someone with this luxurious ham as a gift, you just can’t go wrong with this Hickory Smoked Berkshire Ham.

Berkshires are a unique and rare heritage breed that originally came from Berkshire County, England. The pig is also bred in Japan under the name Kurobuta, as well as in New Zealand, and in America, under the name American Berkshire, always using pigs with the same genetics.

And it’s this genetics that differentiates Berkshires from regular pork, giving the meat a high fat and incredible marbling. Marbling in meat translated into a superb tenderness and melt-in-your mouth buttery flavor, as well as an incredible juiciness, making Berkshire pork – and Berkshire ham – an unforgettable treat.

This luxurious smoked ham for sale is sourced from Heritage Berkshire, an American company that sources their Berkshire pork from farms in Iowa and Minnesota.
