Since December is the prime time for the Marron harvest, it is no surprise they have become a holiday delicacy, both in America and Europe.

A: The Creme de Marrons is a shelf stable product. Once opened, the container needs to be kept refrigerated and ideally used within a week. The Chestnut Spread can be frozen as well, but it needs to be transferred to freezer safe containers.
