We love our premium Alaskan Coho salmon, not only because it’s caught in the wild and not raised in pens, but also because of its mild flavor. This salmon is exceptionally fresh and flavorful, and because it’s wild-caught, its natural oil content, color and texture are at their peak. The fillets are high in protein and Omega-3 fatty acids, making it a healthy choice as well as delicious.
The mild flavor makes it super versatile, perfect for any recipe. Lighter than King salmon, this Coho salmon fillet has a wonderful, velvety flesh with a glorious flavor that still comes through no matter how it is cooked.
This delicate fish is perfect for grilling, poaching and sautéing, but grilling it using indirect heat and hardwood smoke will add another dimension of flavor.
