White Peach Puree

Sweet, mild and delicious white peach puree by Boiron of France, made from meticulously selected white peaches made with a pasteurizing process of rapid heating and cooling that preserves the fresh taste and color. Defrost the puree in the refrigerator for 24 to 48 hours before using, or in the microwave at moderate temperature. Use them to create delicious cocktails, smoothies, and pie fillings.

I've never purchased white peach puree before, but I've had Bellini's at a local restaurant made with it and that was the main reason I purchased this item. I wanted to make Bellini's for the holidays (and beyond) at home. I don't know how this particular product compares to other brands, but after I thawed it out, I loved the consistency and texture, not to mention the flavor! Outstanding! I'd tried some canned nectar that was more like juice, and while the Bellini was tasty, this was even better. I used a bit more than the bartender does because I don't like my drinks strong, and it gave the Bellini an almost creamy texture that's hard to describe, but which I enjoyed immensely. Can't wait to try using it in other recipes. I'm glad I purchased more than one container to keep it on hand in the freezer.
