Farmed from Blue Lobsters off the coast of Great Britain, our Raw Naked Blue Lobster Tails and Claws are mouthwateringly exquisite, and produced using state-of-the-art technology. Rougie has used innovative pressure methods to extract the lobster tails and claws from the shell without harming the quality of the meat. The use of slowly increasing pressure causes the lobster to lose consciousness free of stress, and excellently preserves its taste and texture.

Rougie fishes and flash freezes all its lobsters during the fishing season between May and September, so the meat is always at peak quality. These lobsters are also farmed from a special fishing zone near the Scottish and Irish coasts, known for the meatiest specimens.

All this comes together for frozen lobster meat that’s uniformly delicious, with subtle and refined character, and pleasant and enduring sensation on the palate. Consequently, this frozen lobster meat requires very little preparation, being naturally tasty without seasoning. It can be cooked in all the usual ways: boiled, baked, grilled, sautéed. As for sides, you can’t go wrong dipping it in warm butter and lemon!

Please note that as this frozen lobster meat is derived from wild lobsters, the raw flesh color can vary from one product to another. An orange/red color is most common, but some products may be lighter-colored. This is perfectly fine, and the color difference has no effect on the taste of the finished product.

Q:Can I purchase this item now and keep frozen until 4th of July? For approximately how long would I cook in the oven to keep tender? Is this enough for two people? Thank you
A:The lobster can be kept frozen for around 1 year. If cooked in a conventional oven, the tail should be cooked at 350 °F for 6 minutes, while the claws should be cooked at 133 °F (7mn from frozen, 5mn from thawed). For 2 people we would recommend two lobsters if this would be the main dish.
