Q:Does the whole jar of caviar go in the glass dish, or do I remove the caviar from the jar to put the caviar (not the jar) in the dish? What size jar fits in the glass dish?

A:The glass bowl will fit the 1 oz and 2 oz jars. If the jar you have is one of these sizes you can place the jar in the glass bowl. Otherwise you can use the bowl directly to hold the caviar itself.

Q:Does it have a well for the ice?

A:Yes. The top portion of the silver plated caviar server is actually a lid which comes off an then ice would be placed under the lid.
