Alaskan Salmon Roe Caviar - Malossol

This bright and big caviar comes from Alaskan salmon, which produce a large and succulent egg with a fresh and briny flavor that pops in the mouth. Prepared the "malossol" way - lightly salted, this salmon caviar for sale is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, powerful antioxidants. Great to add flavor and color to appetizers (just top a fresh blini with a dollop of creme fraiche and add a spoonful of these succulent eggs), it's also great on creamy sauces and to garnish dishes.
Ingredients: Salmon roe, salt.
Storage: 29 - 32 F
Availability: Usually ships within 1 business days. Product is perishable and must ship via Overnight service.

Delicious, the pop is worth every second of the experience. For the texture alone Roe should be rated more highly in my opinion.

Salmon caviar is always good but should be identified as what species it came from. Chum best, king second best, coho third best, sockeye 4th best, pink worst.

This continues to be our favorite salmon roe caviar, as the flavor is less fishy to us than those sourced from Russia &/or Canada. It's a requisite ingredient for our annual New Year's "Smoked Salmon & Caviar Pasta".

Compared to the Russian version I usually get, this one was disappointing: Less flavorful, and very tough eggs that are hard to chew open. Cannot recommend it.

This Alaskan Pink Salmon roe is an excellent product, and probably is rather indistinguishable from the Russian Chum Salmon roe, as it should be, as Pink and Chum as far as I know is the same Salmon species...
