About Spanish Largueta Almonds
Toasted, and lightly salted. A late-ripening Almond from Spain, flat and soft and slightly sweet, it is used along the Marcona almond to create marzipan (yum!). By themselves, they are perfect sprinkled on a cheeseboard or served as a snack, or try the perfect Mediterranean Appetizer board: fig and almond cake, dried fruits, olives, Ibores cheese and Spanish anchovies. To make it perfect, serve with a chilled martini.
