A very mellow Italian sheep's milk cheese, Rustico with Black Pepper is soft but firm and straw-colored. Salty and tangy like sheep's milk cheeses usually are, it has an added piquancy thanks for the cracked peppercorns that pepper it. The peppercorns do not make the cheese overly strong, but rather complement the flavor. Interesting to add to a cheese board or those looking for a pepper cheese.
